Community Service
I have been living and working in China for over fifteen years, during which I have taken on several service roles contributing to the academic and professional community, including:
Founder & Leader, Huyixiang Community (EduLab initiative): Established an online community of practice fostering collaboration among educators, EdTech specialists, and researchers across China, ASEAN, and Europe to co-develop digital learning ecosystems.
Faculty Lead (2023) – Virtual Social Entrepreneurship Hub: Designed and facilitated an experimental hub using dialogic teaching models to support entrepreneurial education, encouraging students to co-create innovative social business ideas in a digital environment.
Faculty Lead (2022) – Classroom-as-Organisation VR Project: Led the evaluation of VR technology solutions for immersive learning, helping students and educators test how virtual environments can enhance teamwork, engagement, and knowledge construction.
Faculty Lead (2019) – Constructivist Learning & Employability Forum: Organised panel discussions connecting students, academics, and industry leaders to explore how constructivist learning approaches can strengthen employability and professional skills
